YORK

20,000 square foot New York Roastery, featuring Reserve Coffee and

As a TEACHING & TRAINING SPECIALIST in the New York Reserve Roastery,
you will implement and facilitate key programs to effectively train and
develop partners through their Roastery journey. In this role, you will
be able to apply your skillset to:\xa0

LEADERSHIP\xa0

- Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the
culture, values and mission of Starbucks
- Role models a passion for service, coffee curiosity, operations
excellence and innovation while inspiring partners to deliver the
Roastery & Reserve Experience
- Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume and
manages smooth transitions to keep store operating to established
standards and to set a positive example for the store team

PLANNING & EXECUTION

- Works with general manager and management team to help inform and
develop strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing
execution, and measuring results\xa0
- Collaborates cross functionally with the Global Starbucks' teams to
ensure open communication across markets
- Provides input into store staffing levels and decisions to ensure
appropriate staffing and scheduling and to maximize partner
development

TEACHING & TRAINING SPECIALTY

- Equips partners with the right knowledge and skills to achieve
excellence\xa0
- Ensures training is consistently planned, communicated, and recorded
as complete\xa0
- Tailors training plans to partners' background and learning style to
create a plan for continued area of focus\xa0

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS\xa0

- Communicates observations, actions, outcomes, and follow-up items to
management team on a regular basis\xa0
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with others by
understanding and addressing individual motivation, cultural
nuances, needs and concerns
- Supports management team in ensuring partners adhere to operational
compliance requirements
- Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by
using existing organizational tools and programs to recognize
partners
